Cumberland Presbyterian Childrens Home
CPCH is a licensed General Residential Operation through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services that protects children and teens ages 5-17 who, for various reasons, cannot live with their families.
CPCH accepts children and teens through private placement and through placement by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. We have the capacity to care for 24 children and teens in Basic Residential Care.
CPCH has a solution-focused philosophy of care – we believe in helping our clients identify their strengths and build on them. Our role is to help them develop the tools they need to find solutions to the challenges in their lives.
While in our care, children and teens receive life skills training, counseling, case management, and medical and dental care, along with the basics - a safe, caring place to live, focus on and assistance with his or her individual goals, clothing, and nutritious meals. The duration of a child’s stay depends on his or her specific needs, and each child is eligible for two years of aftercare upon leaving the program.
